Year End Banquet

The year end banquet is Thursday, November 12th at 7:00 pm at the Daybreak Community Center, 4544 W. Harvest Moon Drive.

As we prepare for this fun evening, there are a few ways we need your help:

1. We need a count of how many people to expect. Families are invited, so just reply to this email with your guest counts.
2. We will be having a holiday dinner menu. To accompany that, I need people willing to bring: rolls, salads, desserts, and drinks. Please let me know what you’re able to bring, and I will give you a count of how many people to prepare for.
3. Coach Williams will be making a highlight reel of the season, and we need your photos and videos – especially of the Bountiful game. Please post your photos and videos to: NeAFbgsp cprOE&

Thank you, we’ll see you on Thursday.

Pre-Season Game Map and Ticket Prices

Hello Families –

There have been some questions about the location of our game this Saturday, and ticket prices.

The league has asked that we collect the ticket fees as a team and turn them in to the Herriman league President.  Instead of paying per person who attends the game, they are asking for $5.00 per player on our team. Please bring that on Saturday and I will collect it from each family and turn it into David Blonquist after the game.

We are at South Jordan Park – 10800 S 2100 W. NOT BINGHAM HIGH SCHOOL

The fields are behind (West of) the South Jordan aquatic center. The easiest way to get there is to take 11400 S. to 2200 W. Where you’ll turn left & head north, just past the equestrian center park. There will be an entrance on your right.

Plan to arrive at the game at least one hour early, with a little extra time for parking, because the fields don’t have a lot of parking spaces.  Please see below for a map of the facility.  It is suggested that you plan to park in the dirt field.

Football Team

The league suggests a donation of $50 per player, to cover things like team pre-game events (psych night), our end-of-year party, a tear-away banner for games, and player/coaches gifts. Participation is entirely optional and we will not exclude anyone based on their ability to donate – we’ll just adjust our plans based on our budget. If you are able to participate, feel free to bring a check or cash, or a PayPal request/payment.

Please try to submit your donation by the end of our game on the 29th so that we can set the season activity schedule.

I also wanted to let you know about the Touchdown Bucket, which is another fun and easy way to contribute to our overall budget. If any of you have younger kids that might be interested in either creating or decorating a bucket or carrying it around at games after touchdowns, please let me know. Parents and other spectators often donate quarters or dollars after each touchdown. Some like to donate $5 at the beginning or end of the game. Any amount people wish to contribute is completely optional and appreciated, and will go toward our overall fun-fund.

Herriman Team Gear

Team jerseys are in, and I will be getting an email any day for pickup! And, with team jerseys comes the question of other “Spirit” wear available to help show your Herriman pride.  Please see below for the optional, and suggested, Herriman spirit items available.

Suggested Items:

Embroidered Jerseys: In the Herriman league, most teams have the player names embroidered on each jersey, the charge is $5.00 per jersey, and there are two jerseys per player. I will pick up the jerseys next week and take them to be embroidered.  You can pay by cash or check at the end of practice on Saturday, Monday, or Tuesday or by PayPal ($10.50).

For your convenience email and I will send a PayPal invoice. Please email me if the cost of this embroidery is a concern, and we can allocate some portion of the suggested $50 Player Fee (more on that later) to cover the costs of anyone who is unable to pay this charge on their own.
